Hi, 36yo guy from just outside Belfast. Looking to meet up with interesting people and see what happens.

I think I come across as fairly friendly and personable. Usually I'm able to get on well with just about most people in the room. I have spent my life imagining and philosophising. I love to hear how and what others think about morals, society, religion, spirituality, reality and what ever people find important or interesting.

When meeting new people, depending on the time and place, I may seem a little shy and introverted. I sometimes find it difficult to do the whole small talk thing. I prefer comfortable settings with friends gathered and good music playing, and making my way around each person for 1 on 1 conversations. I like people who can engage in friendly banter, as well as intellectual conversation.

To me, life is about learning, be that through conversation, introspection, observation, exploration or the words of others.

I've always enjoyed using my creativity, particularly when it comes to writing and films. Thus why I am studying the various areas of film making in the Belfast Met. The areas I enjoy most would be scriptwriting, cinematography, and editing. I haven't quite got a hand of the bossing people around part of directing. But I do enjoy the aspects of how to tell a story using images.

I'd really like to make a great horror film. A psychological, slow paced horror film the way the Japanese do it. Besides that, I'm attracted to little social commentaries in film making. You can make some nice subtle points without lecturing people or bashing them over the head.

Besides the film stuff I'm a book reading, video gaming, fun having guy.

Hmmm not really sure what to put in this part. I do however hate people who write that so I'll put in that I am looking for someone to see a movie with and I don't have much time!

Am a Metaller from Belfast, I love my movies and my music. I think am funny and am an easy going guy. I like hitting the town for drinks at the Backbar and (or) sitting in and watching the TV or a DVD. I work in South Belfast in a call centre, rubbish but its right next door to my house so rolling out of bed has never been easier. Work hard and play hard and remember be good, if not be good at it.

Well i work hard, i like to get out with my friends, usually for food or to go a bar, somewhere like the eg, where there is a bit of atmosphere but not a club.

OK right here is the deal, im on here to meet someone, im not saying im looking for the "one" or anything like that, im just looking to meet a nice, fun, easy goin girl i can have loads of fun getting to know and just see where it takes us.
Now not sure what to tell you about me really.... well ive been jumping around the UK for the past five years, first of all in Stirling for a year at college and then i jumped down to Middlesbrough in england where i went to uni for two years before i quit and moved to Glasgow where i stayed for two years and now im back over in lovely northern ireland and living at my brothers in Belfast and working full time.
Now the basics about me...im an easy goin, funny, friendly and very caring guy, im what you would call the the proverbial nice guy...you know the one that always finishes last but im hoping thats gonna change, im also a published author but its only one book and it sounds way more impressive than it actually is especially since i havent made any real money off it and ive suffered major writers block ever since although i have got a few novel ideas planned out just havent been able to get them finished.

At the minute in my life, things are in a state of flux, I'm slowly emerging from the post-university glow into the real world and attempting to grow up in the process yet also engaging in some rather hedonistic behaviour in the process, not sure which is going to win out in the end!

I'm qualifying as a solicitor here in Belfast and I work hard, it's interesting mostly but I'm not sure whether I want to stay in this country as it's very insular and I wouldn't mind heading back to the continent again in the future, or at least to see a lot more of the world before I commit myself too seriously to something.

I'm a dreamer, I spend most of my free time listening to and discovering new music, playing guitar, teaching myself how to dj and reading novels and philosophy. I'm quite shy in public, but get over this by drinking too much and regretting it, I am at the same time arrogant and riddled with self-doubt, but I am extremely loyal to the people I know that deserve it.

Belfast isn't a bad city, but I get bored not being able to meet people into similar music, films and books and I miss having an outlet to discuss ideas that I had more at university, so to meet some open-minded and interesting people who have travelled is pretty much my goal here.

In a day to day kind of way I am a computer game playing, guitar wielding romantic-idealist. I like to have time on my own to read and philosophise as much as I enjoy spending time with people. I am infinitely more comfortable getting to know someone on a one-to-one basis than in a club environment, though I enjoy these from time to time as well. I really dislike the effect caused by a smiley at the end of a bracketed sentence, the closed bracket gives my smiley a double chin and gives the impression that I have ceased to close my original bracket I sense one impending.

In a relationship respect, I am the kind of person who is very cautious about who his heart goes out to. I treat it like I would treat a child I was putting up for adoption. (I imagine. I've never had to sell a person before! Good money in it though ;)) <----- ARGH!! I may find myself withholding sex for a while even though I am convinced that getting it out've the way as fast as possible is the best way to see the person for who they really are. However what I really love is having the kind of woman I can worship entirely, to share a fascination in each other and each others lives, after that happens I will always remember you whether it works out or not. I'm a bit like the Toruk in Avatar in that respect. Except my wings aren't nearly as colourful. And I don't have any wings.

I play World of Warcraft a little too much, and somehow have manage to let myself get forced into raidleading. If that means nothing to you, then you're a better person for it. I'm trying to cut down... It's an addiction, and i'm counselling myself through it so far. Bloody life stealer.

Im 20 years old and love to have a laugh...I'm currently at uni in newcastle, and just livin it up a little really. Music is my passion, i'm a bit of an indie kid and love nothing more than to chill with some friends with some good tunes on. However, i've gotta say i'm a bit of a party animal too, being irish my drinking stamina is quite up to scratch and therefore i like to think of myself as a good drinkin partner on a night out. My friends mean the world to me, i'm pretty loyal and caring, and i'm quite often the one who tries to turn a bad night good. I'm very open minded and have to admit that I have quite the high sex drive, think what you will of that...lol

Well, I have been to some strange places and done some rare and interesting things but at 26 it just seems like I've missed out on a lot of the normal stuff that constitutes real life for most people. I'm still up for doing some more interesting things and it would be good to have someone fun and/or like-minded to do them with. I'm probably not the worlds greatest communicator (except on paper, this right here is as eloquent as I get :)).

I have a very odd circle of friends in that I know a lot of people from various groups and activities that all know me but wouldn't know each other. I fantisise about getting them all together but I never seem to find the right occaision, might do it on my next birthday though. I have a few people that I'm very close to but no one "best friend".

I'm reasonably house broken - as in I can cook, wash and iron my own clothes and scrub up well when I can be bothered or coerced. I have done some post-grad so I'm smart and probably a bit too opinionated for my own good.

Hmm... tall lad with a good sense of humour as long as you dont mind my ability to laugh at practically everything, got a very optimistic point of view like that.
I'm into all sorts of things; nature, animals, drawing, painting, music, obscure films, humourous limericks and jaunty haikus...pretty much if you make it sound like a good time ill give it a try, in fact thats how ive discovered most of my favourite passtimes.
Love travelling and heading to places ive never been before, quite like going for walks about the area im currently living in to try and find something ive never seen before.

Antrim, went to uni in Lancaster, England and came home because, well, it's not the kind of place that people stick around in after they've finished with uni.
